Philanthropy

helping the underpriveleged children of the community

Theta Kappa Chi takes pride in the fact that their philanthropy helps many people in need. The sisters of Theta Kappa Chi understand that there are children in need of help that have not had the luxuries we, ourselves, have. The term "under-priveleged" can not only be defined as "poor".  This term is also used to describe handicapped, sick and those in distress.  Theta promotes the well-being of children in the community and works with other organizations to help provide for children in all kinds of need.  But that does not stop Theta Kappa Chi from helping others; all around the world.  Theta has participated in numerous walks, fundraisers, and other events that have benefited many different organizations.  Theta Kappa Chi has hosted bake sales, canning trips and volunteer projects to help those around the community. In the next semesters, Theta hopes to participate in more philanthropy events as well as host their own. Helping the under-priveledged children of the community is one of the top priorities of Theta Kappa Chi.  Being a local sorority, our community is our home. Sometimes a child just needs a person or organization to look up to, Theta Kappa Chi hopes to be that organization.
